Helpdesk Technician
Our company is seeking a skilled Helpdesk Technician to join our team. The Helpdesk Technician will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our internal users, ensuring their technical issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, excellent critical thinking skills, and a customer-focused approach.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Respond to and resolve user inquiries and technical issues via phone, email, or in-person.
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams or senior technicians as needed.
Install, configure, and update software and hardware components.
Provide user training and support for software applications and systems.
Track and document user interactions and issue resolution in a ticketing system
Assist with computer equipment setup and maintenance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve user issues and provide timely resolutions.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or technical degrees are a plus.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in helpdesk or technical support
Strong technical background in computer hardware, software, and operating systems
Familiarity with networking concepts and troubleshooting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other common business applications
Knowledge of helpdesk ticketing systems and remote support tools
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong attention to detail and organization skills
