Helpdesk Technician

Our company is seeking a skilled Helpdesk Technician to join our team. The Helpdesk Technician will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our internal users, ensuring their technical issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, excellent critical thinking skills, and a customer-focused approach.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Respond to and resolve user inquiries and technical issues via phone, email, or in-person.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.

  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams or senior technicians as needed.

  • Install, configure, and update software and hardware components.

  • Provide user training and support for software applications and systems.

  • Track and document user interactions and issue resolution in a ticketing system

  • Assist with computer equipment setup and maintenance.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve user issues and provide timely resolutions.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or technical degrees are a plus.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in helpdesk or technical support

  • Strong technical background in computer hardware, software, and operating systems

  • Familiarity with networking concepts and troubleshooting

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other common business applications

  • Knowledge of helpdesk ticketing systems and remote support tools

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills
