Menar is looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to join our team full-time at our head office.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES

  • Relevant Degree or Diploma in the field of Visual Communication/Graphic Design/Multimedia Design  

  • At least 1-2 years working in a PR and communications environment  

  • Experience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator  

  • Understanding of HTML, CSS & JavaScript 

  • Sound knowledge of layouts, typography, line composition, colour, and other graphic design fundamentals  

  • Be able to work on Apple Mac computer  

OTHER SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:  

  • Strong creative and analytical skills  

  • Compelling portfolio of graphic design work  

  • Experience with Squarespace and WordPress beneficial 

  • Ability to communicate effectively (in writing and verbally)  

  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines at once

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Create and design print and digital materials, adhering to brand guidelines and templates while meeting deadlines  

  • Update and maintain existing CI designs, proposing changes as directed 

  • Retouch and manipulate images and videos as required 

  • Use graphic design software and work with a wide variety of media formats  

  • Collaborate with the Corporate Communication team to develop design concepts  

  • Receive feedback from the Corporate Communication team and to develop design concepts and meet project needs 

  • Receive and implement feedback, ensuring all changes are approved before execution  

  • File and archive graphic design projects systematically  

  • Maintain and apply the company’s visual and graphics library accurately 

  • Produce branded material mock-ups and artworks in line with supplier guidelines  

  • Understand briefs thoroughly before initiating design projects 

  • Prepare and assemble final presentation materials 

  • Perform basic website design, maintenance, and updates 

  • Stay updated on emerging design trends, tools, and best practices
