Network Maintenance Specialists X3
Our company is seeking skilled Network Maintenance Specialists to join our team. The Network Maintenance Specialists will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our network infrastructure. The ideal candidates should have a strong technical background in networking, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a proactive approach to network maintenance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform routine network maintenance tasks, including monitoring, testing, and troubleshooting network devices and connectivity
Conduct regular network inspections to identify potential issues and areas for improvement
Respond to network alerts and outages and resolve or escalate issues as necessary
Perform network upgrades, configurations, and installations.
Maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and inventory
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve network-related issues and implement solutions
Ensure compliance with network security policies and procedures
Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in networking
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field; relevant certifications are a plus
Minimum of 3 years of experience in network maintenance or a related role
Strong understanding of network protocols and technologies, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs
Experience with network equipment from vendors such as Cisco and Ubiquiti Networks
Knowledge of network monitoring tools and techniques
Excellent troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
