Trading and Marketing Assistant

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Daily stock/order reconciliations

  • Support the marketing manager on daily marketing functions

  • Drafting of offers/ commercial agreements

  • Checking and confirmation of shipping documentation for export shipments

  • Liaising with the teams at port/mine/logistics and marketing department to ensure smooth execution of domestic and export sales

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Grade 12

  • BCom or Diploma in business management/logistics/marketing

  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar role

  • Exposure to mining or commodity trading beneficial

  • Honesty/integrity

  • Ability to work under pressure – fast-paced environment with important deadlines

  • Hard working with emphasis on attention to detail

  • Strong admin skills are a must

  • Strong communication skills

  • Competent in MS Office
